After careful consideration, and many discussions with the host venue, it was determined that SAM 2021 will be best presented as a hybrid conference. For the purposes of SAM 2021, hybrid means that ultimately, the choice is yours: Do you prefer to be a part of SAM 2021 education in person or remotely?
Due to social distancing requirements, and to best provide for attendees’ safety, only 400* FPMA members (who are members in good standing) will be eligible to register for in-person, on-site education. This registration will be on a first come, first served basis. Seating for the conference lectures will adhere to social distance guidelines. Masks will be required. Food and beverage service rules will be followed. Our host hotel, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, is well-versed in COVID-19 safety measures as they are currently hosting organizations like the NBA. For those who do not wish to register to attend in person, SAM 2021 educational programming will also be provided virtually (see note below regarding virtual credits).
*Please Note: Once in-person registration surpasses the 400 physician attendee limit, please contact email@example.com if you would like to be added to a waiting list.
Virtual Credits: Please note that FPMA has requested that the Florida Board of Podiatric Medicine consider increasing the total number of hours available for online learning allowed per biennium, per Rule 64B18-17.002(4)(a), during the current biennium.
FPMA’s commitment to provide continuing education for our members, while also ensuring a safe learning environment, is of paramount importance. The safety and well-being of our attendees is of utmost concern and remains our prevailing priority.
