The FPMA Summer Conference is a perennial favorite, and we have brought it back better than ever! A maximum of 230 podiatric physicians and 90 X-Ray Assistant attendees will be eligible to attend the conference on-site. Virtual attendance of the conference will also be available for podiatric physicians.
The FPMA Summer Conference traditionally takes a different tack than the annual FPMA Science and Management Symposium (SAM), offering equal parts lecture and leisure. This conference plan offers attendees the opportunity to attend CECH lectures each morning and then take advantage of a multitude of leisure and self-enrichment activities available on-site and in the local community each afternoon. This way, attendees can reconnect with family, network with colleagues, and enjoy downtime with family-friendly activities planned each day.
Intended Audience: The Florida Podiatric Medical Association (FPMA) annually convenes the Summer Conference, a podiatric medical and surgical conference. The intended audience of the Florida Podiatric Medical Association (FPMA) 2024 Summer Conference is Doctors of Podiatric Medicine and Podiatric Residents.
Mission Statement: The Florida Podiatric Medical Association’s educational mission is to promote continuing education in podiatric medicine, podiatric surgery and practice management through workshops and seminars. Our commitment is to increase knowledge by offering every registrant the educational assistance needed to improve care for their patients and be successful in practice by promoting the benefits of scientific advancement in the treatment, prevention, and alleviation of podiatric ailments.
Podiatric Physician Accreditation Statement: FPMA is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. FPMA has approved this activity for a maximum of 9.5 Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECH) during this three-day conference, depending on lectures attended. This conference will take place June 7 - 9, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida.

The X-Ray Assistant program consists of an 8-hour course on Saturday, June 8, 2024 and
an examination (for Initial Licensure only) on Sunday, June 9, 2024.
